This is neither a postcard nor is it part of the smaller-sized 3.5 x 5.5 team issue photo card set, but PSA recognizes it as if it were. This falls into that gray area of “is it a photo or is it a card?” PSA also provides the date as 1980, but I was skeptical of that judging by the mismatched photo in the 1980 team tri-fold brochure. I suspected 1979, but I had trouble finding a program or brochure that might confirm that. I finally found confirmation in a plastic cup and a can of Canada Dry, both dated 1979.

It's a shame this set never got made. Impossibly rare, as a Schmidt collector you just have to pretend it doesn't exist. You'll never get it, and you'll just have to find a way to live with that. It's a twelve-step process 😢
